HOLIDAY SNACK TO TRIM THE TREE-REESE’S CARAMEL POPCORN

PicMonkey CollageXMAS1I LOVE  CHRISTMAS  AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.THE JOY THE SEASON BRINGS IS AMAZING.SO TO BEGIN OUR HOLIDAY DECORATING .I MADE MY FAMILY AND I CARAMEL POPCORN WITH A LITTLE TWIST INSTEAD OF CORN SYRUP I USED REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER SYRUP.NORMALLY USED FOR ICE CREAM TOPPING.I MUST SAY IT WAS REALLY GOOD.I CAN’T WAIT TRY OTHER SYRUPS THIS SEASON FOR POPCORN VARIATIONS.LIGHTS AND TREE UP THE FAMILY AND I CAN SIMPLY SIT BACK AND ENJOY A LITTLE CHEESE POPCORN,LEMONADE AND MY NEW FAVE REESE’S CARAMEL POPCORN.

1 C.BUTTER

5 C. COOKED POPCORN

1/4 C REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER SYRUP

1 C. BROWN SUGAR

1/2 tsp. SALT,CREAM OF TARTAR,BAKING SODA

1 tsp. VANILLA EXTRACT

MELT BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR IN SAUCE PAN,HEAT UNTIL MELTED ADD SYRUP STIR OFTEN. WHEN SAUCE BUBBLES AND CRACKS.REMOVE FROM HEAT ADD SALT,CREAM OF TARTAR,VANILLA &BAKING SODA.MIX WELL HEAT 2 MIN MORE TO BLEND.POUR OVER POPPED CORN MIX TO COAT .PLACE IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30 MIN.STIR EVERY 5 MIN..REMOVE FROM OVEN ALLOW TO COOL OR SERVE HOT.
