- 1 1/2 c. toasted pecans halves
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 TBS butter
- 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- toast pecans in oven preheated to 350 5 minutes oncookie sheet
in heavy sauce pan melt butter,sugar and cream to rolling boil.to 350 degrees on candy thermometer.or drop tsp of mixture in very cold water.if a soft chewy mass forms .remove from heat stir in vanilla and pecans.drop on wax paper. by spoonfuls let cool cool completely.wrap each in wax paper.
